Shipping container is a container with strength suitable to withstand shipment, storage, and handling. Shipping containers range from large reusable steel boxes used for intermodal shipments to the ubiquitous corrugated boxes. In the context of international shipping trade, “container” or “shipping container” is virtually synonymous with “intermodal freight container,” a container designed to be moved from one mode of transport to another without unloading and reloading. The container has the features of strong structure, easy transport as well as long life cycle. So containerized genset is quite popular in the outdoor application, especially the genset above 800kw capacity.
Powertec combined the features of standard container with the genset operation status, and provide the customized container canopy genset with multiple choices:
1. Provide the standard container size canopy (20GP, 40GP, 40HQ, 45HQ), as well as nonstandard container size canopy (25GP, 25HQ, 30GP, 30HQ, 35HQ, etc.)
2. Based on the genset dynamic weight and static weight calculation, Powertec design and manufacture the suitable foundation and structure of the container.
3. Customized size and quantity for maintenance entrance, operation door, air intake and discharge louver which related to the genset capacity and postion.
4. The internal container full filled with glass wool and covered with perforated plate will ensure the excellent soundproofing and also the long life cycle for outdoor application. Optional for residential silencer or secondary silencer, and the air intake/discharge sound attenuator.
5. Equipped with internal independent daily fuel tank, maintenance free battery, water-fuel separating system. And optional for stainless material fuel tank or silencer, fire extinguisher, automatic fire extinguishing system, motor controlled automatic air intake and discharge louver, marine painting and coating, etc.
6. Wide range of engine brand choice (Cummins, Perkins, MTU, Mitsubishi, Yuchai, Etc) can be provided, and be able to supply the generator with customized design such as additional sensors, air intake filter, IP protection, etc. The radiator is selectable for direct drive type, motor drive type, H-type drive, remote cooling tower, etc.
